Sleep is one of the most precious gifts that we can give our bodies. With the demands of daily life and little ones around, 8 hours of sleep may seem like a distant dream.

With a B.A. in psychology emphasizing child development, I’ve spent the past 15 years I have working as a nanny for high-profile families in Connecticut, NYC, Paris and San Francisco. These families have relied on me to sleep coach their babies and toddlers. By working with so many children, I’ve seen first hand how every child’s unique personality affects their sleep.
Over the years, I have refined my approach to helping babies and toddler’s sleep through the night. I believe there are many paths to a good night’s sleep. Parents often ask if I’m a proponent of cry-it-out, a family bed, breastfeeding and everything in between. I’m an advocate of respecting each family’s values and philosophy as well as each kids developmental stage and temperament. Read more about my philosophy.
Since July 2017, I have practiced the Gentle Sleep Philosophy taught by Kim West LCSW-C, The Sleep Lady®. This approach empowers parents to offer verbal and physical reassurance while teaching children the important life skill of putting themselves to sleep. While respecting babies developmental needs families get more sleep for the family with fewer tears and less guilt.
